Nike Snowboarding의 프로 스노우보더 GIGI RÜF는 축구를 매우 좋아하는데

그의 고향의 클럽팀인 SC Bregenz 에 대한 GIGI의 열정에 영감을 얻어

프로젝트를 시작하게 되었다고 합니다.

 

Nike의 초경량 축구화인 Mercurial Vapor를 부츠에 믹스한 디자인으로

최신 스노우보드 부츠의 기술이 집약되어 있습니다.

 

11월 5일 Austria Innsbruck의 스토어 X Double에서는 발매기념으로  

Gigi뿐만 아니라 Nicolas Müller, Austin Smith등 나이키 프로 스노우보더들이 함께 참여하는

The Rüf FC Cup을 5인축구 토너먼트형식으로 개최했고

이 자리에서 최초로 이 부츠를 선보였습니다.

 

11월 19일에는 전세계 동시 발매가 이루어지고

한국에는 72족만 한정판매가 이루어진다고 합니다.
