Where does the name "Snoli" come from?

Franz Maislinger, founder and director of the Glungezer ski school in Tulfes, invented the "Maislinger Schuh Walker" in 1969, which made the leather shoes still used in 10 minutes with approx. 1,000 steps soft and comfortable. It became a patent in Austria and Germany. Further developments and various small devices followed and the word "Maislinger" was converted to the protected brand "Snoli". "Snoli" is supposed to establish the relationship with snow. Today Snoli products are sold worldwide and used especially in ski racing. 

The headquarters of the Snoli company is in Absam, where many national teams, service people, ski manufacturers, sport sheep traders and ski rental shops can be advised today. The company is to be continued in his spirit, but there will also be room for new ideas. Put your trust in me too!
